Delivery

All quoted prices and shipment options displayed on this site are available to mainland UK (excluding Highlands) addresses only.

Any completed orders with delivery addresses outside of the mainland (includes Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man etc.) will be subject to extra fees – we will contact you if you have placed an order.

We send almost all shipments via UPS Standard which is a next day service to most mainland addresses – deliveries can take an extra day to some more remote addresses or on less common delivery routes.

EU and World-wide Shipping

We are experienced exporters of batteries and accessories and can offer a variety of world-wide delivery speeds to suit. We can ship almost all of our product range to the EU and the rest of the World on request – please email or message us and quote the product name you are looking at, as well as a delivery address so we may give you a delivery price.

Delivery Delays

While we try to minimise any and all delays, Covid is putting a big strain on all delivery services.

Most of our next day services are still next day, but please allow an extra 24 hours just in case. Accessories sent via Royal Mail can be delayed up to 3 business days.

World-wide deliveries can have up to 2 week delays; please check with local couriers for up to date information.

Many thanks, and stay safe

What We Do and Who We Use

We are a fully licenced dangerous goods shipper. This means we know the importance of safety when packing and shipping batteries. As most (automotive) batteries have sulfuric acid inside, they need to be secured in such a way so they won’t be damaged or leak during transit on their way to you.

We can use the heaviest of duty boxes that are rated up to 250Kg. This partly due to the weight of batteries, but also to protect against any piercing of the box that may occur.

All of our packaging is recyclable and/or reusable. Please recycle or reuse our boxes responsibly and please reuse our inner packing materials.

We purposely do not plug up vent pipes on the batteries. We have seen other online battery distributors ship out this way so to avoid any leaking. However batteries need to breathe and as they produce a small amount of hydrogen. If the battery is used with the plugs still installed, they can explode hence why we will never take this risk. We may sometimes use a method that will seal the vent, but this will be disabled if any pressure builds.

There may be some droplets of clear liquid inside the packaging; this is most likely battery acid and a normal occurance with going through the transport network. Please wear gloves and eye protection when opening and wipe/water down all surfaces after. Avoid contact with skin and clothes.

Contact us immediately if there is a lot of liquid inside the packaging

UPS Logo
We use one of the only certified dangerous goods shippers; UPS.

We pay extra for declaring our goods as dangerous goods. This means that UPS will only ship via road transportation and will not use conveyer belts. This is to prevent the risk of tipping. With large orders, or just large batteries, we will use a pallet and ship via freight. Our freight carriers change from time to time, and sometimes we get our own suppliers to ship direct to you. We will get in contact with you if your order requires freight shipment.
